Rapid prototyping with 3D printing

We 3D print functional prototypes so you can check form, size, fit and strength before investing in moulds or production. We also work with engineering materials such as carbon fibre nylon and iterate fast: you change the file, we print it again.

Rapid prototyping with 3D printing

What our prototypes are for

  • Checking form and size

See and handle the real part to review proportions, ergonomics and clearances.

  • Functional and fit tests

Test snap fits, screws, hinges and tolerances in a material close to the final one.

  • Pre-series and tooling

Short runs for market tests, jigs and tooling for production.

How it works

  1. Tell us your ideaA description, a sketch, a photo with measurements or an STL file.
  2. Price and lead time in 24 hoursWe reply with a quote and, if needed, a design proposal.
  3. Printing and finishingWe make the part or the batch in the material and colours you choose.
  4. DeliveryAverage delivery 48 hours after confirmation, shipping across Europe.

Materials and finishes

For visual prototypes we use PLA; for functional ones PETG, PC and carbon fibre nylon (PA-CF), which give stiffness and strength close to a production part.

Frequently asked questions

What file format do you need?

For the online quote, upload an STL file. If you work with other CAD formats, get in touch and we will sort it out.

Can you make several versions of the same part?

Yes, that is what rapid prototyping is for: you change the design and we print the new version.

Do you do short runs?

Yes, after the prototype we can print a pre-series in the same material.

How long does it take?

Price and lead time within 24 hours; delivery depends on size and material.
